What is reaction time?
Reaction time is the time between seeing something and moving. For a simple visual signal it is often said to be around 0.2–0.3 seconds for most people. In games, speed is only half of it: you also need to ignore fakes and stay calm.
Why random games?
When you play the same test again and again, you mostly measure practice. GAMIQ never tells you what comes next, so it shows how well your reflexes work on a game you did not prepare for — closer to real gaming skill.
Tips to react faster
- Look at the whole area, not one point.
- Relax your finger and keep it just above the screen or button.
- Do not guess — early taps lose points in many games.
- Play a few rounds to warm up.
